They are even stupid in the first place to call for such a strike when looters, legislators and fuel subsidy scammers are not compelled to make refund with strikes

So all those engaged in the organized (private firms,Educational institutions, conglomerates and SMEs) and non organized (traders, market women, artisans etc) private sector were also expected to sit at home? This is not the era of Occupy Nigeria now. There will be business as usual.
Go to Alausa secretariat first, that would be your sure attestation of whether the directive worked or not.
Don't be too hasty to condemn please

As against what I posted earlier, the strike seem to be fully effective, private organisations affiliated to NLC/TUC are requested to comply with the directive to embark on strike until further notice.

Same also applies to transport unions in Lagos.

Are banks open?

Not at all. At least not in Kano.

Banks opened around 8am but in less than 10 minutes, they closed and all their staff left. My banker friend said it affected them too.

Please be informed!
There is nothing wrong with 'my English'.
By peoples, I refer to people of various ethnic groups and cultures who live in Lagos; not the plural form of 'person'.
If you feel that's a wrong usage, you can as well tell me why.
