We are innundated everyday with stories that make us get scared or lose faith in humanity because of how cruel man can be on his fellow human being. Stories like Rape, Cultism, Ritual killings, Betrayals, Stealing, False Accusations and other social vices.

I saw a thread today where a gala seller was rewarded by an NGO after he gave out all his gala to prisoners because he knows that they were hungry and he could only give out his wares to help them get filled.

This story brought hope to my heart that humanity has not failed that we still have people who are really ready to go the extra mile for others.

Mind blowing technology.

I don't think there has ever been a point in the history of mankind where humans "succeeded". We have and will always be a selfish and greedy specie who think about ourselves first.

A toothache will hurt you more than hearing that 10000 people died somewhere else.

Whatever acts of kindness we see or hear of are usually the exception and not the norm.

So humanity, based on this standard, has not failed but instead lived up to it's potential
