THE HUGE UNTAPPED MARKET POTENTIAL FOR WINDOW BLIND AND WALL PAPER IN NIGERIA
A constant feature of every home is a window. Windows are designed and built for houses for the purpose of proper ventilation and lightening. But for the purpose of house aesthetics, they are usually covered with fabric curtails or blinds. In those days fabric curtails used to very popular for residential houses and many offices, while only few offices use Venetian Blinds. But times are changing! The fabric curtails are fading away, what you find in all the offices today are blinds (different types abound). And many residential homes now prefer to use blinds instead of the conventional fabric curtails. So the demand for blinds has increased astronomically. Now, you may not be aware of this trend because you are not in the business, but one thing you would probably notice is that, nowadays, anywhere you go you see more of window blinds in home and offices compare to many years back. And this is a big business boom for the few artisans that into the trade, and they will not let you know of this secret any way.
The market potential for widow binds in Nigeria is so huge, when you consider the number of houses for both residential and office use. Many Hotels, schools, hospitals use window blinds as well. And also considering the fact that people are switching from the use of fabric curtail to blinds; not to talk of the number of new houses that are springing up every day. This business is just so amazing! This business can turn around your financial fortune in a jiffy! Trust me.
The use of Wall paper in Nigeria homes is also gaining so much popularity. It is now a common sight to see most people use wall paper to adorn their homes, to cover a section of their parlors or cover the entire walls. Most offices, hotels, restaurants, Saloons , etc also use wall paper for their interior decoration. Most people prefer wall paper to the conventional painting because of its uniqueness and durability. So the market demand is also very high. Only a handful of people are currently into the business as we speak, they include: interior decorators, and few artisans. The market is so big that it can accommodate anybody is serious to make cool cash

HOW LUCRATIVE IS THE WINDOW BLIND AND WALL PAPER BUSINESS?
The market potential for window blind and wall paper in Nigeria is so huge and untapped!
Window blind comes in various types and their prices varies as well. They are usually sold per square meter (m2). There are importers and Fabricators of the blinds. You buy from them at their factory price/m2. You add a margin to that price to sell to your client. For a standard window for instance of 2.0m2. depending on the type of window blind, you can factor in a profit margin of N4,000- N7,000 per window.
Now how much you make per job, depends on the number of windows and the type of blind demanded by a customer.
For a wooden window blind, for instance, the factory price is usually N8,800/m2. Now you can charge your client N11,500- N12,500/m2 ( this depends on your bargaining power). You profit margin could be N2,700-N3,700/M2
Now for a Standard widow of 2.0m2, you could make, N2,700 X2 = N5,400, or N3,700 X 2 = N7,400
Let us assume you get a job, to install blinds for a house that has 10 windows, you could make N5,400 X 10 =N54,000 OR N7,400 X 10 – N74,000 as your total income from that job.
IF you get three of such contract in a month, you could earn between (N54,000 x3 = N162,000) OR ( N74,000 x3 =N222,000). Now tell me, How many blue chip companies in Nigeria pay as much as N150k or N200k in a month?
Now, the same thing goes for the sales and installation of wall-paper. A hotel or a restaurant could give you a contract to decorate all their interior walls with paper or panel board. I bet you, such contract would earn you hundreds of thousands of handsome profit margin that could radically transform your finances.
I can hear you say, “ but, how do we get started with this great business opportunity ? “
Never mind! That is why I am here for you. My desire is to put in your hands the secrets of the business, that could make people already in the business feel very jealous.
