It appears that Southeast PDP leaders will soon accept Peter Obi as Atiku's running mate.According to Osita Chidoka, there is no opposition to Obi’s nomination from the South East. The issues raised by the SE leaders will be addressed by the candidate Atiku.

It should be recalled that Atiku received Senator Kwankwaso last night amidst growing concern that he may work against him in 2019 election

Oga who and who are dragging who down? How does superiority creep into this picture? Although, I believe that the issue of the south east faction of the PDP is not supposed to deserve the publicity attention being to it, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole issue is being exaggerated by enemies of the state. The south east faction of PDP merely raised a point that due consultations and protocol was not followed.

Please, also be informed when making comments. Go to the streets of Aba, Onitsha, etc. and see if can't count the number of people that does not support Nnamdi Kanu.

Again, check through history and know which tribe has their votes divided. Please don't come online and make uninformed comments that will deceive gullible people.
He said the truth..The SE is is not united if they were..this issue with peter obi should have been sorted out among themselves but what we saw was some team of elders from the same region trying to drag this man down in favour of thier own..why dont you say things the way they are. This is the first time in a long time that some someone from the SE would be given this opportunity and you guys are not united in favour of the choosen person..

Nnandi Kanu you are talking about..what effort have you all done collectively to know his were about? now every is going about his own business as if nothing happened..remember people died in the process for this struggle..what are you guys doing to know where he is being kept? Now the VP slot is on the table and the voice of struggles have finally tone down...I dont understand if the struggle was politically motivated or genuinely born out of the will to leave Nigeria..if the later were to be the case then why has the chant of your struggles disappeared all of a sudden?.Nigeria and its people will continue to be a mystery to me.Anyway i am very excited that the VP slot came to the SE..but they should unite for ones in their lives for this one..when other ethnic group see a united house they will surely want to come in and join.

My dear, I understand where you are coming from, but to tell ourselves the truth, let us remember that in every society one finds himself in, that sometimes the leaders don't tend to do the will of the people, rather they would prefer to cater for thier own selfish interest first. Me personally don't see the need for the supposed rift, but that doesn't merit anyone saying that the Igbos are not united. These politicians are clearly doing their own will and does not represent the interest of the people.

Another classical example is the non chalant attitude of the so called leaders when the Nigerian Army invaded the south east. The so called leaders were clearly against the wishes of the people. Again would you rather say that the Igbos were not united because of a handful of politicians who are only after their own needs?

It would also be unwise to say that Igbos are not making efforts to know the whereabouts of Nnamdi. At least I know that the case is still in court, massively being supported by Igbos and IPOB. Again, would you say that they are not making efforts when the IPOB women protested for his whereabouts but were instead arrested by the police and possibly harassed for peacefully protesting in a democratic setting?

All in all, remember that this whole issue might have been exaggerated by those who are patiently waiting for crumbs to fall.

Trapnews:
Let it be known that Jennifer Douglas, a U.S. citizen and a wife of Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President and a presidential candidate in Nigeria. From 2000 to 2008, she helped her husband bring more than $40 million in suspect money into the United States through wire transfers from offshore corporations. Ms. Douglas is alleged in a 2008 civil complaint filed by the Securities and Exchange Commission to have received $2.8 million in bribe payments from a German conglomerate, Siemens AG. Siemens has pleaded guilty to criminal charges and settled civil charges related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and told the Subcommittee that it sent payments to her account at Citibank. The Subcommittee located three wire transfers substantiating $1.7 million in payments from Siemens to Ms. Douglas in 2001 and 2002. Of the $40 million, the Subcommittee traced nearly $25 million in offshore wire transfers into U.S. accounts controlled by Ms. Douglas, provided primarily by three offshore corporations called LetsGo, Sima Holdings, and Guernsey Trust Company. The five banks holding her accounts were generally unaware of Ms. Douglas’ PEP status, and did not subject her accounts to enhanced monitoring, despite multiple, incoming wire transfers from Switzerland and Nigeria.
One bank took seven years to find out she was a PEP; after it did, it reviewed her account activity and closed her accounts. undecided
okkk.
Thanks for the info.
