While we were growing up, I had an experience that transformed my life for the better. Most likely my elder sister might not remember this incident.
I am the first son and second child of my Dad. My elder sister back then was very 'troublesome'! She won't allow me be; always forming 'senior sister'! She dishes out instructions on a per minute basis, and we, her siblings, must strictly adhere to, otherwise she'll beat us up! But you know nao, unto 'first son things' I sha was still disturbing her noni.

Usually she bests me and then I cry and case closed. So one faithful day, it dawned on me that I was a guy and she was a girl and as such I can overpower her. So on this particular day, I really did fight hard with her. And y'all know I don't chicken out easily! Lol. So we kept fighting until I punched her somewhere delicate!

She cried!

I mean she kept crying until my heart couldn't take it again and so I joined her and we both cried together!

From that day until today, around 20+ years after, no matter how hard a Lady tries to get me angry, the highest I will ever do is to walk away! I mean, I will just carry my 2 left legs and walk away. Simple.
I won't reply her. I won't hit her. I won't even allow myself get to the point of wanting to get physical or violent with her. Because I always have one fear: I might cry when I see her crying!

So, why this early Monday morning confession of mine??

You see, the rate of violence and other form of abuses against women is getting really terrifying!
Stories of husbands beating their wives blue and black has filled our news headlines!

But me, I have only one question for such men:
How does it use to do you when you are slapping her?
Does it use to sweet you like TomTom when you start punching and hammering your wife's face and body?
Do you use to get sexually aroused when you see blood coming out of her mouth, nose and other body parts?
Because ayam not understanding at all!

The part that pains my marrows, is that some ministers in some unfortunately popular churches will beat their wives over the night and the next morning climb the pulpit to preach!
Some will finish redesigning their wife's face and still have the guts to call for early morning devotion!

And yet you say you are praying to God, lifting up 'unholy hands' abi?
Biko wakanda Christian are you mbok? Are you reading a different Bible?

Ephesians 5:25 & 28 says "And you husbands, show the same kind of love to your wives as Christ showed to the Church when he died for her... That is how husbands should treat their wives, loving them as parts of themselves. For since a man and his wife are now one, a man is really doing himself a favor and loving himself when he loves his wife!"

Aaaarh, so you even bear the title 'Apostle' and yet with a pestle you beat your wife's head!
You even have 2 sons and you remember children are fast learners, observing how you use to sandpaper their mother's face with slaps, how you use to molest and malhandle their Mum! Hopefully their wives won't be their punching bags as well! And those of you that use to give excuse(s) on behalf of the man, continue, you hear?!!

See ehn, we all know every woman's mouth has been blessed with words! So whenever she exercises her blessings, just look left, look right, look left again and cross that road! If you have a strong feeling to hit someone, draw a person's picture on the wall and start hitting the wall! If you can't do that one, go to a gym or better still take a stroll! Leave where she is, don't yield to the desire to punch your wife! Please!

Sincerely I am so pained right now that I don't know what kind of prayer to pray for you; I just hope God will have mercy on you and open your eyes. Amen.

I call you blessed! This week is declared your week of 'release'! God will show up for your good and you will see His Mighty Hand in your life and family in Jesus name. Amen!
