Born on the 21st of August 1985, Slimcase is a fast-rising Nigerian indigenous rapper, singer and songwriter. Real names Oladapo Oko-Eko, Slimcase was born and brought up in Ikorudu, Lagos State.

Growing up in Ikorudu Slimcase was tutored by the streets were he was known in his early days for being a very funny guy. This influenced his foray into comedy at the time making him to take up comedy as a career performing for friends, family members and social gathering before music found him.

Before attaining fame, slimcase worked as a factory worker for about ten years, earning a sum of about N15,000 per month.

In the year 2011, slimcase came across a friend by the name Beat by Sars (***not to be confused with Sarz on the beat), it was this friend who helped him record his first ever vocals for a song in Akoka, a local studio near the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

“I loved his productions, and without voicing to the beats, I had the urge to be a musician. His beat was so banging, that I wanted to record on it,” he says
