It’s not that simple Sir...the “minimum wage” that is being talked about is the basic salary I.e minus allowances...with the increament, basic salary increases by 66.67% as you have shown, the effect will only be felt on the allowances that are calculated as functions of your basic salary I.e housing allowance maybe 40% of basic salary (in this case that allowance goes up) and of course eventually add to your take home...

Federal Government Employees in the core ministeries only get 56-59k for Bsc that’s GL08 ...some Agencies get more cos of allowances...places like Petroleum Equalization Fund, PTDF, AMCON, DPR etc get 250-300 for entry level...places like FIRS and NNPC get 180...it’s the associated allowances that matter...

always verify your information before bringing it to the public. Level 8=115,000 and 120,000 on federal government payroll while 70,000 and 80,000 is for Grade level 7

You guys should stop giving yourself over bloated hope,basic salary for level 8 step 2 in civil service without allowances like core ministries is N49,800.other public servants who receive above that have allowances included, so if N18,000 is increased to N30,000 for grade level three that means the increment is N12,000 so the increment on grade level eights salary is N12,000+N49,800= N61,800.so what ever salary you receive as at present just top it with N12,000. And that's your new wage nothing spectacular

I don't mean to disappoint you all but when minimum wage was increased from 9500 to 18000 how much increase did u (senior staff) get in ur salary? Now from 18000 to 30000 what makes u think there will now be an increase in ur salary. To me, I think it's only d junior staff that will benefit from this minimum wage thing. I have someone close working level 8 In a federal institution and when d minimum wage was increased back then, she said she got no increase whatsoever. Also before dey begin pay, e fit reach next year probably end of first quarter or so as senate will have to still seat on it and then back to president who will sign and implement n bla bla bla. If I'm wrong, someone who knows better should enlighten me.
