How will private schools not takeover? When someone spent 3 years looking for admission in public schools, because you don't have enough money to bribe your way for admission into a good government school. When You finally get the admission you spent 6-7 years on a 4 year program. You will then come and apply for a job, they will tell you "DO NOT APPLY IF OLDER THAN 24"! how will covenant university graduates of 22 not get the job? infact we never see anything.

Like it or not , covenant University is the best University in Nigeria , the rest public schools are living in past glory

Remember when my organization wanted to verify my result before confirmation of employment, the messenger got there late and the registrar was already on her way home but she drove back to her office late and ensured it was done that same day. When I demanded to talk to her and thank her she said "nothing gives me joy like my students getting a job" I really felt special. Great giants!

Why won't covenant uni have more. First the population of the students is like the population in some federal uni faculty. Secondly, the rich kids attend such uni which implies automatic job because if their parents don't own very good businesses they would have high ranking positions in federal and state and private companies or parastatals.

Furthermore, more 50 percent of a uni with 35,000 annual students population and over 2000 students graduating should never be compared with a less that 2000 annual population of a uni like covenant or other private uni.

The federal uni students compete aggressively for job so what do you expect. Aside, many graduates now own businesses of theirs.

Your assertion about rich kids sending their kids to covenant university is not true. I have send many families taking loans to send their kids there. These families are not from rich background as you paint it.

I'm a product of IMSU and gainfully employed, my take on this is;most of the top ranking schools have their alumni as captain of industries who are in constant look out for graduates from their schools to fix them up,for example; if I'm a recruiter and have two cvs with same qualification before me and one is an old boy,what do you think I'm gonna do? Your guess is as good as mine.

Also we should be our brothers keeper,I passed out April from NYSC got job in my PPA and through my contact and good rapport with my PPA managerial staffs,I have been able to help my school mate secure job within the hospital while still working to fix others up....LINK UP is the watch word!�
