Before, the igbos didn't really appreciate Education, they rather go to farm or a trade. But during the 80's and 90's igbos started Accepting Education.
Ewu. The people that produced the best minds in the civil service, the army and tertiary education before the civil war did appreciate education till the 80s? You need to read so as to understand that the igbos took education seriously in the 1920s and became the leading region in Nigeria by having the highest number of secondary schools in the country with most of them built by communities through the help of numerous Town Unions in Igbo Land.

. Look at your mentality. What do you call education? Education is beyond going to colonial schools and getting brain washed. Doing and running business well is enough education. Learning a skill is enough education. Be enlightened please

JESUS CHRIST loves us and paid for our sins by HIS sufferings and death. We must also love HIM by loving other people and meeting people's need.We must smile at others, encourage and comfort the broken-hearted and the sad people, and give to people in need.Do not be easily offended by people's actions. The bible says that love is not easily offended 1corinthians 13:5.JESUS CHRIST resurrected and gave us eternal life.We must live this life for HIM by loving everyone, irrespective of his/her religion, tribe or social/economic stature.

Good men should not sit by and allow evil lies run riot!

Before the civil war, the Igbos were the most educated of all the tribes, occupying most of the civil service positions across the country. The Igbos were clerks, supervisors, teachers, men of the clergy and so much more in many parts of the country that was outside the Igbo enclave.

The war struck us bad, but we are bouncing back! This dragon is still sleeping... when it awakes, the whole of the West African sub-continent will feel the tremor.
