Banks collect N52.50 from customers for ATM card maintenance every month. A bank with 500,000 ATM card holders gets at least N25,000,000 from ATM card maintenance every month or N300,000,000 every year. The card is in the hand of the customer, what maintenance does the bank do on the card?

Bros, I've been meaning to ask this same question. And to think that we're charged N1000 to own an ATM card and it expires after a few years. Also we're charged for using ATM card for different transactions.

Why else would there be a need for a monthly maintenance charge after all these other ridiculous charges.

And to top it all, you will still be charged N65 per transaction after using a different ATM more than 3 times in a month.
