There's surprisingly an online platform where you can learn news skills in exchange for donating some grains of rice.

All you have to do is visit http://www.FreeRice.com, select a topic you would like to learn, answer questions and then donate rice.

FreeRice.com has been in existence for a while now, but its still not very known to the public.

As part of the World Food Programme, FreeRice has been able to donate more than 90 billion grains of rice since inception.

The sign up process isn't necessarily important, you can learn without having to sign up and can later create an account once you like the platform. They are a lot of topics one could choose from, all with different difficulty levels. The difficulty increases based on how well one performs in a particular topic.
