Suppose I went to Seun, HardMirror, Hahn and HopefulLandlord to collect huge sums of money and I told them that the money is meant to cater for the poor under my care, I would be a good person without a doubt. Suppose they gave me the money, which is tens of millions of dollars, and instead of giving the money to the poor under my care and helping them, I decided to give it to my church and pastors (well to do), do you think I should be called a good person or a fraud?

Suppose my supporters, despite knowing this, insist that I am still a good person and I am justified because it's not my duty to take care of the poor and I, at least, did something good for them, would you think they are insensitive and stvpidly biased given that it's exploitative to take the poor under your wing and raise money on their behalf only to not spend on them in the end? "at least I thought about the poor and took the poor under my wing" my stvpid supporters would say but consider the fact that every crook wouldn't mind taking the poor under their care if they would have access to the free tens of millions of dollars as I did.

"but it's not my duty to take care of the poor, give me some credit for trying at least" my supporters would say but if it's not my duty to take care of the poor, why would I voluntarily take them under my care and raise funds for them? Na who send me message? Why then exploit them by raising funds on their behalf and still not spend the funds on them? Isn't it exploitation?
How could I be a friend of the poor if I believe that their suffering is a good thing and a gift from god?
