Aboru Aboye Baba Tunde. Can we also ask questions on this forum, because I don't really exchange private email with hardly anyone.

Can I also warn against pranksters, and people who might act interested in jest.

Which part of Nigeria are you based, sir? In which town are you priest of Ogun?

What is the reaction amongst the Orisha community of traditionalists about the spread of christianity and Islam?

What is the Osonkpikan magical society? Do they have a website? What are their activities?

First off, I thought a babalawo was necessarily an Ifa priest. How come you are chief priest Ogun, the god of iron?

People can receive various initiations. So you can be initiated into Ifa and initiated into Ogun as well. A lot of orisha priests have Ifa as well. He is probably an Ogun priest that has also received Ifa initiation.

(1) Is it true that human sacrifices are still routinely demanded by some orisha and are carried out by some of these societies such as the Reformed Ogboni Fraternity, Oro, and is one of the rituals carried out when an oba passes on?

(2) The Reformed Ogboni Fraternity was (re)formed by a Christian minister early in the last century. How about the old traditional Ogboni. Does it still exist?

AT FORUM

It is only GOD/divinities that have perfect answers to all questions. I am just a tool

I do more of practicals than theories. The ATR secrets i know today were orally given to me and i am always busy in the real world. For some days now, i have been in the forest fetching roots, herbs etc for an ongoing work

MY QUESTION TO THIS FORUM

What do you see when you gaze at a river?

AT TOBA

Your first question is Yes:- I can cast a spell on another person and No:- I cant cast a spell on another person

Your second question answer depends on the outcome of your first question

Your last question answer is yes and no. Many things have to be considered before the preparation of powerful money/riches charm

BETTER NOT TO ASK THAN TO OVER PLEDGE BECAUSE A GIFT DEMANDS A GIFT

AT PASTOR

You are highly welcome to ask reasonable questions on this thread. Are you asking questions for fun or insights? Insights comes with personal experience not somebody else experience either in written form or videos. My email is for confidential consultation only

A real Babalawo are slow to speak but quick to listen. They dont lie, instead of lieing, they will say they dont know. So, i dont know were i came from in Nigeria. Email me if you need this answer

If a member on this forum politely ask you to post your real identity like your real names, house address, phone number etc on this forum. Will you?

Most religion are good, they preach love, One supreme God and it associates. christians, muslims call these associates Angels while ATR call them divinities. We are indeed happy with our fellow christian, muslim brothers and sisters but what we dont like about them is them saying our mode of worship is evil. They dont have the right to judge which religion is holy or evil. Most christian, muslim clergy secretly patronize us and they are also members of these Nigeria prestigious fraternities

THE OSONKPIKAN MAGICAL SOCIETY OF NIGERIA INCORPORATED have no website i know of but ROF has. The osonkpikan society are strictly for ATR believers and practitioners to fraternize with each other, to share ancient and modern african charms, rituals etc. They are the keepers of ancient and modern ATR secrets. Do you want to be a member of osonkpikan?
Re: I Am A Rare Babalawo by PastorAIO: 11:00am On Sep 03, 2010
Thank you Baba Tunde for the responses. I was afraid that maybe you were just a spam bot that looking for customers, but now I recognise that you are a real person who is interested in engaging in discussions.

The reason I warned about people asking questions in jest is because there are people like that in Nairaland, especially 'christians' who will like to make a mockery of what you do. However I am not such a person. I am asking, yes, for fun and also for insights. But by fun I don't mean to make mockery.

Since arriving at NL I've tried to stir up interest in Ifa, but my knowledge has been limited. I'm happy to welcome a fully qualified babalawo to the forum. There have been quite a few threads on Ifa and it would be nice if you could make some contributions. Especially this thread:
https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-48078.0.html

I'm trying to run through the major Odu but due to lack of response I kinda gave up. It would be helpful if you could look over what I wrote and make corrections where necessary.

I'm not looking to be a member of any society. My interest is philosophical.

Would you mind if a small verification is done on you sir? Please note this is small -

[1] The first step in Ifa initiation is to "rin 'fa"! how many steps follow that and what are their names in ascending order?
[2] Can you give us details about the "Ogbe" ifa class? The names, seniority and basic precepts?
[3] Suppose I throw "Agba" twice and 1st I get "ogundabede" and then "iretemeji", how would you explain this if I were female?
[4] What if I were "male"? How would you explain it especially if my Ifa is "eji elemere".
[5] If I "te'ifa " and what I get is " "
' '
' '
' '
what would my ifa be called and what are the guidelines you would give me following that?

Nuclear baba agba, how body now? I no know say u "jasi" for ifa like this. I dey find ifa mentor and books o, the stuff really interests me, awaiting the response of the e-babalawo anyway.
Re: I Am A Rare Babalawo by toluxa1(m): 2:54pm On Sep 04, 2010
@nuclearboy. shocked shocked shocked grin grin grin

Where on earth did you learn all these. I have been interested in these 'stuffs' for sometimes now. There was a man who wrote a book something on Ifa and Mathematics (can't remember well). He came on AM EXPRESS. I don find the book tire. Do u have any materials on it?
Re: I Am A Rare Babalawo by nuclearboy(m): 9:12pm On Sep 04, 2010
@Ilo-Baba: Iba fun eyin agba! wink

@Toluxa1: I won't tell anyone not to search his path. Just be careful - you're getting on a path where it could easily become about what you want, rather than what God wants. It creeps up on you.

Meanwhile, as per Nuclearboy, a lot has passed under this bridge. sad

Many years back, people like some business advertisers on this forum made me to believe Christ was a lie so I walked away. Islam did not last 3 months before I walked past it, then came the eastern religions and meditation. Finally someone took me to a 102 year old who was so kind, patient, and so POTENT. I started the initiates process and got to the penultimate level.

But I've always been a thinker and one day, it struck me that the Bible acknowledges the capability of such (divination, readings, etc) BUT posits that its not always, that knowing the right, gives you the right. I was MADE to see that clearly as over and over, I found out what was ahead and eventually found I made the wrong choice BECAUSE I knew. Its complicated but my wanderings always brought me back to Christ - I always found Him in amazing places and believe me, I waka pass small. All the big things we see on AfricaMagic yoruba - I had them all and my home became an armoury the traditional way and then some. I finally walked away when it became too obvious to me where I ought to be. And thats why I'm sure of what I hold - I know what it cost me to walk away. And my knowledge is based on experiences, not books or discussion.

I ask the questions above because like Pastor_AIO, its somewhat disconcerting to see someone with those claims coming out like he's soliciting. Lets see him get past them before we talk further

Cool!
It can be a good thing to have diverse knowledge of different kinds of beliefs. This will give u an extra advantage if they want to come up against u.
I have being around and come from a very shady Juju heritage. Got family members who are heavily involved in these babalowo/onisegun stuff giving homage to witches/wizards. The witches sef don't hide behind a veil. They know me and I know them. My thing is do ur thing and I do my thing and let God do the judging. But all in all ,Christ is the key.

@Post
pls don't hesistate to respond. cool
Let's see what u've got.
Re: I Am A Rare Babalawo by nuclearboy(m): 8:18pm On Sep 06, 2010
^^^ Atimes I wonder if God doesn't allow some of us pass through such experiences just so one would be able to help others having issues with such later. God knows I've had my share of helping many past such issues. But the knowledge is great and very interesting

As to poster responding, I wouldn't bet on it. He already started another thread totally ignoring this one since those questions.

Funny thing is, his postulations on the new thread, come directly from http://homepage.mac.com/drmaryann/trono.html which makes me think its an old poster here playing games with those who'd jump at any semblance of solution or knowledge to issues real or imagined.

. . . . .The people you refer to as christians and muslims are not properly schooled in the mysteries of their religion. If they were, particularly the muslims, would realise that Abraham had a religion that predated judaism, christianity and islam. . . .he practiced ifa. In fact the Quran has accounts about "hanufa" (plural - hanifa). They joined forces with the jews, the christians and the muslims to combat idol worshippers.

@ Baba Tunde

I am interested in your services, sir.

I understand that ifa also involves divination. . . . which implies the ability to foretell and also see through sinister motives and unseen realities. I am particularly interested in the divination part of it.

can u be consulted online? what would be ur requirements? would u be charging a fee? . . . .I understand that very genuine consultations are free. . . is that true?

DISCUSSION :- Genuine lovers of Ifa, this link will be of help to you www.buyblackamericana.com/ogbe-irete

NO MATTER HOW HUNGRY, A DOG IS TO HIS MASTER, IT CAN NEVER BUY BONE FROM TRADERS WITH HIS MASTER'S MONEY

Pastor AIO :- Why dont you take the ifa initiation? Since your joy resides in Ifa. Your thread https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-48078.0.html is wonderful. May Orunmila continue to bless you, ase!

Ifa Tradition is not evil but splendid. We Nigerians should be grateful to Olodumare for bestowing on us this treasures

Aburo pastor, informations on your thread are sufficient for the uninitiates. Diamonds are not given to pigs

oluwabamis :- If some christian clergy, muslim clergy, buddhist monks, hindu monks can browse the internet. Why cant some African Traditional Religion practitioners browse the internet? Most Baba of Orisha have more than one camera hand set. So, do camera hand sets make one a fake Baba Orisha? Most Oba's in Nigeria have phd. Do, phd make one a fake Oba? Alot has changed my dear

nuclearboy :- Omo nuclear, you think you can just explode nuclear bomb any how abi? Haha! My son, no religion is inferior to the other. Religions are practical and your success depends on your approach. Do you want to be an Ifa initiate or needs ifa consultation? Your posts says that you know much of ifa. That means you are an ifa teacher and thats your folly because a teacher cant teach a teacher. Son, if you see Odu leaves, can you recongnize them? If you see a complete Ifa and an uncomplete ifa deity, can you distinguish them? Do you belong to any Orisha fraternity? The worst thing that can ever happen to a man is when he migrates from one religion to the other. He will be infected with spiritual diseases. BE CAREFULL.

neotic16 :- No, i cant consult ifa online. Ifa consultations are free but you must offer something even if it is little to Ifa before consultation. This is how Ifa Tradition works. Ifa initiates still offer something to ifa before personal consultation

Ol' boy, I don talk am so taaaaaaay . . . I no fit shout. Religion is primarily about Practice. Not conceptualisation, and ideology. Practice it and when you see the result for yourself there is no need for debate again. "My God is better than your god. My delusion is superior to your delusion. Bring your nonsense and let me compare it to my nonsense then we will see that I am right. etc etc etc . . . ."
