Zuma Publishing calls for submission

The Zuma Publishing is seeking short stories in any genre for our upcoming anthology Survive.

All stories must be centered on survival or surviving. This can be any kind of survival; in the desert, deep down in the ocean, from abuse or violence, or even from yourself.

Stories should be between 3000 to 6000 words long. See guideline for how we want the story:

We understand the hard work in writing a story, and we are committed to ensuring that each manuscript gets the attention it deserves, while cutting through the wait that most publishers subjects the writers to.To ensure that your story makes the cut for what we are looking for at this time, we encourage you to read through our guidelines and what we are looking for.

Guidelines
• In the subject line of your email, type the Genre: Query: Title . (e.g. Thriller: Query: Undersea Goddess)

• In the body of your email, copy your cover letter (not more than 1500 words with at least 2 of your social media links (links only), a pitch (not more than 1000 words), and word count.

Your contact information including mailing address, phone number, complete name, and pseudonym if applicable.

• Send only the first 3 chapters of your manuscript or first 15 pages in black color of 1 of these fonts: RTF, Times New Roman, or Courier. Doc or Docx, NO PDF.

When you send your manuscript to us, we will respond to you within weeks, or 2 months at most. Do not send a follow up email.

To confirm receipt, you will receive an acknowledgement response.

Please ensure that you follow the rules or your email will be deleted without a peak at your story.

Submission opens on 1st April to 30th July 2019.
