Why do Nigerians gather to make noise each time there in an accident grin

It's simple - lots of roads are BAD, Terrible - AND - have been used as Campaign promises since 1960.

Over the years, multiple contractors would have been awarded and paid to construct the road - some times as often as yearly!

There's a road that was fully tarred but highly congested in the mornings and evenings. Houses and shops were demolished to widen the road. Customarily, a few residents died from heart attacks. It's almost two years and not one drop of granite or Asphalt has touched that road.

***

As for this Ikorodu road, thanks for Fashola, it's well tarred. Quality job done by the Chinese. However, there are no guard railings to protect people from the swamp. Only short bridges have protections.

I almost fell into that same swamp about 20 years ago. Was going to church on 31st December when a (probably drunk) driver slammed the sides of my vehicle on high speed and zoomed off.
