Did you know that it is possible to easily share your location, without the need for your friends and colleagues to install any app, and making use of the built-in update privacy settings of Webtalk?

It is very easy. The person wanting to share location temporarily or for any length of time must install an app, a beautiful easy-to-use simple free app that does not invade your privacy at sign up nor after:

If you also install Osmand open source maps so that Google has no information about your location: available for Android and iPhone from https://osmand.net/ -- Osmand maps even work when you are offline. You can then set Osmand (or any other) instead of Google Maps as your location map integration with Glympse.

Whenever you want to share your location you simply open Glympse and with a tap or two you are set to go: your photo and name and any comment, if you add them will also be visible. Then, you can share that to any app or simply create a link and paste the link into Webtalk!

Anyone clicking on the link will see your location and if you selected life, can follow you. They don't need to install the app, the link opens nicely in a mobile browser such as Chrome!

It's all too easy and a great feature for those who would like to see the location of their friends, just make an update whenever you like, on Webtalk, set the privacy to e.g. Personal Contacts or Custom (Family, close Friends) paste the link and press the Webtalk "Talk" button to post!
