When Stanford jnr died, his father wanted to honour him with a memorial building at Harvard university but he was denied. That drove him to establish the Leeland Stanford Junior University AKA Stanford University founded on entrepreneurship education.

Today Stanford, though hundreds of years younger is of equal prestige as Harvard. It's alumni community is wealthier than many nations of the earth and the second highest producer of billionaires in the world. Second only to Harvard. It's not an Ivy league but has surpassed most ivy leagues - Yale, Cornell, Princeton etc.


I know people who were tormented after relationship breakups. Today, they cringe at the thought that they could have ended up with those persons.

While I refuse to say Covenant was a lesser door, studying in the UK is definitely an higher door.

People should always learn to accept denials in hope of something better. If you did your best and were denied then something better is coming!

Foreign Universities will admit you because you are paying foreign fees. it is foreign fees that helps to subsidize local tuition over there.

What about when you're not a first class graduate and you still do the same "yes ma/sir" ?

At least you are not disputing that lecturers give marks for sex. You admitted only because there is ample evidence and sacking of lecturers after being busted. How would you know the exact grades legions of girls who quietly comply get?

What stops a very pretty girl already on track for a 2.1 being given a 1.1 if she sleeps with lecturers in charge of her project and other key course modules? Would it not still be corruption if she got a 1.1instead of a 2.1?

Just like the reality of Nigeria where majority eke out a living the hard way and some enjoy luxury due to connections, some students do not have to sweat to get top grades like others.

In my experience of diaspora education, you do not rely on archaic books but on scientific journals fresh off the press after Level 1. You are tested on the very latest on the body of knowledge. Not cramming, just theory or copy and paste.
