its easter again that time of the year we christians celebrate the death and rise of christ the saviour.
i've come to observe that of all christian celebration easter is a very unique occassion for christians. apart from chrismas that has about 90% acceptance from christians easter has at least 100% acceptance.
this is what i mean, while many a christian congregations and individuals do not celebrate chrismas for one reason or another, ranging from timing, (some say its around october, september etc),
while some do not celebrate chrismas due to things that happen on that day (as if those things do not happen on any other day, throughout the year or when other faiths celebrate thiers).
still others give thier reason for not accepting cos it has to do with the roman "sun god" etc
same cannot be said of easter. there is no arguement and controversy about easter whatsoever
well i'm a catholic, and i can say that almost all famous christian celebration were fixed (sic) by the catholic church. share your views

to think that its in prep to this weeks celebration that christ prayed his prayer for the church
"i'm coming to you , holy father, may they all be one, as you and i are one "

this year's celebration is one of the longest date ever but all other congregations had to wait till this day easter is really a binding agent for christians of today
