It is surprising that up till now, nobody sees anything wrong with the pictures vis-a-vis the headline.

Do those pictures depict a convocation scene? Why is nobody in academic gown?

It was actually an occasion for presentation of Chinese scholarships to outstanding 2nd year students based on their 1st year academic results.

The scholarships is worth N100,000 each and donated by the Chinese Embassy.

Those students are potential first class but not yet first class graduates.

You're obviously one of those doctors busy killing patients in nigeria up and down due to poor standards, arrogance and a feeling of being better than anyone else

Imagine labeling yourself the best doctor

Where did you train, what's your specialty, how many years have you spent as a specialist?

My di*ck needs sucking. I can oblige you to do that. With a condom obviously

Now i know how foolish you are boy. You obviously can't be saved.

The squabble is no longer on a matter you know zilch about, it's now about my moniker. My moniker of all things?
All these questions and insults on Nigerian Doctors because of a username that was created almost 9 years ago when i was still trying to find my way around Anatomy?

You really really do need some serious help.
And hey, take your obscenity off my mention. You, your disgusting phallus and self. You're just too classless, i'm only sorry for the normal humans that'll have to deal with you in real life.

What is this one saying? Where were you when my mum lectured in A.B.U for twenty five years? If my family should contribute in training you northerners, then I don't see anything bad in getting a slot based on "merit" because my state is also under the "catchment area".
Do I hear u say catchment area? Are from Kano, katsina, kebbi, zamfara, Jigawa or Sokoto? I knew your so called state has a federal university there why not your brother applying there..

making good grades or result in ones course of study is never a guarantee for success. if I'm not wrong Regina Daniel is still in school and Little Success ( no be say I no go pay) has up to 12 years before she enters university, Efe bb9ja winner might not be a guru academically, So being street wise is the surest bets in making it in Nigeria. it hurts though

I live in Kaduna, ABU is full of fanatic , if you count 100 Muslims before you will count a Christian, but surprisingly the two best students are Christians.

You're the real fanatic here. ABU still remains the only university that admits more students from all parts of the federation than any other. How many Muslims can you even count in UNN?

These are Anatomy and Physiology students... Am sure those girls must have applied for MBBS but were denied and their slots given to people with names like Sadiya, Muhammad, Umaru, Ganduje, Hadiza, Usman, Zubairu, Mustafa, Buhari and co... Imagine one of my younger ones who scored 320 in JAMB with six distinctions in O'level was still denied MBBS in ABU (and given Anatomy instead) despite he "finished work" in their PostUTME...

Because those names you mention are names from catchment areas. If ABU doesn't give them do you expect UNN or UNIBEN to give them before? Your claim also sounds so untrue. With what score did your younger one "finished" the supposed "work?"

Faculty of medicine.

For christ sake, Nigerians have comprehension problem.

Most cases, there are at least 5 departments in each university under faculty of medicine, in which medicine and surgery is just one.

All courses are graded except MBBS and BDS.

That she had 5.0 means she is from either Anatomy, physiology, physiotherapy, nursing, medical lab science, Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetic.
Not that I know o.
But just for clarification.
Look at this for example:
100 or so students were inducted as Doctors in Ife, and the first 20 were chosen to work as house officers in Oauth.
I can tell that those 20, had better scores than the 80.

Is there no chance that there was some sort of grading?
Note: They all had pass.

Now let me explain to you.

No CGPA was used.

There is a graph that is being drawn for that, a form percentile. like a sigmoid graph. Your score at that point give you advantage just for your university to be able to select you among your counterparts.

Outside that, no first class or second class.

We deal with life, you must not treat a patient in a first class manner or third class brain, all doctors are expected to be the same.

All doctors are expected to treat patients with the same efficiency, same knowledge and produce the same outcome regardless. , because the aim is the Same - all must be healed with maximal possibility.

You still don't understand me. Based on "MERIT", when someone has stayed and schooled all his life in the north and scores 320 in JAMB, 6 distinctions in NECO, 8 distinctions in WASSCE, and 93% in post UTME, the person should also be given admission to study MBBS(on merit) aside the fact that his state also belongs to the catchment area(Middle Belt)... You hardly come across that kinda result in the north these days.
93% in Abu postutme? I know you are lying but continue...

You think everyone is as dumb as peeps you meet in your neighborhood? People are making 9 A1 in WAEC these days over 350 in JAMB exams and 98% in postutme... These days, all the resources needed to make it possible are at our disposal (mostly online)... In that same ABU, undergraduates are making 5points GPA every semester... So, what's impossible there?

I know you won't do yourself a favour of not quoting me. Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: it is those who know little, not those who know much, who so positively assert things. If I should strictly hold you with your comments here, you said you stayed almost all your life in Abu, your mum was a lecturer and even without your brother writing putme, you are not bright enough to know ABU does not use percentage grading for her PUTME... It is over 400, just like Jamb... Where did the 93% came from ?
Re: Favour Adenuga & Goodnews Johnson, First Class Students In Medicine, ABU Zaria by mujibson(m): 10:23am On May 26, 2019
See you, you are wrong again... 320, 93% is not something that is alien to me, I had 318 in jamb, 290 in PUTME, not from catchment and I'm an Abusite... I only despise fake people like you who goes around on nairaland with cooked up lies just to make people notice you.. Check my result here... You can as well do us a favour of posting that of your brother's too ... Don't tell me it's been long that he wrote his exams.. Even if it was 10 years ago, it'll be there on ABU's database .. Liar
