@ capeverde , are there toilets in the rooms? if no, which toilets would the occupants of the rooms use?
and please, how can I contact you via whatsapp? I have some questions to ask you sir.
No toilet yet,but it will be built along side the suck away pit, since there is sand, and I pay my engineer daily for now,he will do it along side the pit. Also I believe 4 bags will do the work. I will carry everyone along.

Hello everyone, finally the apartment has been completed just painting left,I rented out one the room and I added the other room to my existing apartment,it was not easy but it is worth it,in summary I spent 350k in total.
For some time I have been saving to start another building project this November, they say practice makes perfect,am just trying to grow slowly but steady.

Yes
It is very few of the budget there that can work for Lagos and Ogun because cost of human labour is outrageous here and other materials
Omo onile wahala only will buy another Land

Same thing that happened in Lagos, ogun happens every where, Delta State is even worse. Just get a land from a low key area and you good.
And as for labour, get the right people and materials are more cheaper in Lagos than where I am because most of the materials comes from Lagos. I went to the market last weekend only to find out materials are cheaper this season compared to the time I did this project.
I grew up in toll gate sango axis, once you are ready let's guide you on the journey.

Lastly on this 2rooms journey before my next building journey begins,I came to realise that it is not an easy thing to grow and become stable in Nigeria,I open this thread to assist and reset the thinking of struggling Nigerians like me. Please think wisely stop wasting your money to visa scammers, money doubling, irrelevant investment and outing and do your future some good.
I saw how Nigeria is going so I decide to hide myself in this investment scheme, yesterday was my 31st birthday and I decide to make myself happy by moulding over 200blocks and gave little fund to charity.
End of year project loading.... Peace.

When do you plan to start,I will guide you through once you are ready.
Like for my November project I already save 150k for it, unfailingly am expecting 100k by December so what I have till this year exceed will cover from foundation till roofing completes.
The blocks moulded yesterday was from the left over sand from previous work.

Well-done my fellow hustlers, it will be well with us. I also have a building project going, but made the mistake of going for a 3-bedroom flat outright. Got close to lintel, lost my job and got stuck ever since. Money spent could have finished a Room and parlour self-contained. (Lesson learnt).

@op, nice job.

Thanks to God for wisdom, when I started I was discouraged alot that I should build flat this that, but I like to start and finish as soon as I can,I have seen people build one house for years and it doesn't trip me at all.
I did just one room self contained, now it has been expanded to room and parlour self-contained with extra room rented out.
So the next project hopefully will be for built for rent.

For those Aspirants that will be wondering if this building are of good standard, yes it is. For crying out loud am using a very experienced Engineer, the man has been building all his life. He has been doing all types of building projects for over 4 decades.
My experience with the first engineer,I noticed he was after his stomach, let's just do it so far money comes continually. This is what I noticed with most engineer working in sites in where I live.
Sometimes I pity most people struggling to complete a house when it should be long completed,Engineers feeding deep on them.

Good morning everyone , well I want to say am all set for the November/December building project.
Am a learner just like everyone reading,In preparation for this new project I was surprised that I have to make reference to all my previous post on this thread to equip myself. I was glad I opened this thread,it was of help to me the writer.
If am getting followers for this new November project, guys encourage me with some likes. I don't want to feel alone in this journey,it's not an easy one especially without finance.

This is going to be a 3room project, just trying to expand even with a lesser fund.like I said to kick start this project I had just 150k but then I plan to just get it roof this year and take a break, because of finance.
So with the few ideas and experience I think I won't exceed 250k to get to the completion of the roofing.
