Following the on-going French partnership research on climate change, seven (7) universities including AE-FUNAI have been chosen to incorporate with France embassy in Nigeria to research about climate change, laying emphasis on Energy, Water Resources and Human activity.
This development called for a meeting with AE-FUNAI research team, where five researchers were nominated to represent the university in the Inter-universities research on Climate Change.
Speaking during the meeting, The Vice-Chancellor Professor Chinedum Nwajiuba mentioned that the team would meet with other chosen universities to deliver on a research themed “Energy, Water Resources and Human Activity”. He therefore urged the selected researchers representing the school to be of good conduct and imbibe the habit of humility as it is the best quality of a researcher.
The acting Director, Centre for Climate Change and Development AE-FUNAI Dr Robert Onyeneke added that the five researchers were nominated because they had good researchable topics focusing on the given theme, further advising them to be action oriented, as it is a must in the concept of the said research.
