A Nigerian man has taken to twitter to tell the story about his life on how he has been surviving sickle cell for the past 30 years and also took time to educate people on why they should care much about their Genotype before marriage.

I have read through the comments on this thread and seen so many joking about this! Have seen people ask the thread owner to park well! What I say is simple, don’t bring a child here to go through what I have gone through for 33 years! Am moved to tell my story a bit!

The first 'last office' I did was the corpse of a young girl (about 15 yrs old) who died of sickle cell. She practically begged her mom to let her go that she is in so much pains before giving up the ghost. If your genotype is AA , lucky you! If not, pls go for genotype test before getting married. Very important!
