Well, I was having the same feeling till I met corp members from the school. Forget what you're reading online and meet those who are schooling or residing there. Maiduguri is safer now compare to before....

UniMaid is safe, I currently school there, and Hell Yes, I LOVE IT.

All these people talking trash, have you actually been to Borno State or maiduguri or even unimaid?
I graduated there over 3 years ago and was there this year for my transcript.
The university is even more beautiful than when I was a student.
There is absolutely nothing happening there, the school and students are safe.
Even in the heat if boko haram we were still in school back then in 2011/2012.
