Lampard is not likely to succeed at chelsea, he doesn't have the luxury of world class players the likes of vodafone and Gurdiola worked with. Chelsea cant sign any world class players for now
it is same squad that got to the league cup final, won Europa league and finished 3rd.
we will compliment the squad with loan players

lampard has only coach derby and he didn't get sacked in his first season like Zola who is a coaching disaster.
Zola always leave every club he has coached worst than he met them

Well, Coaching is all about experience, not the number of times you failed. lipsrsealed

You think they reason like you. They like to give their own with potential the opportunity to showcase what they have. They like to give the young ones the space to grow and they are not bewitched with win it at all cost mentality. Just watch him grow and perform. And if he doesn't, they haven't lost anything.
Chelsea us not owned by an English man, giving Lampard an opportunity is just a compensation for years of selfless services rendered to Chelsea. Of he doesn't perform within months, trust me He will showed the way out

Then none of the parties is losing in this deal. Realistically Chelsea can't fight for the league this season no matter who the coach is man city and Liverpool has the league this season, so why should they sign an overly expensive coach who would still fail?, Lampard is also not losing out as well even if he fails Chelsea is in his CV and that would land him another big European club subsequently except he continues to fail serially which means he doesn't have it in him like henry. So it's a good deal no party is losing out lampard just has to keep Chelsea in the top 4 and maybe win a cup to get a food season for Chelsea

Lampard was a good player though but its sad that his first premier league game is a heavy loss at old trafford grin

Chelsea for Europa league next season

He won at that same old Trafford with Hus derby team, a team with less quality to Chelsea....

which experience? there are guys in the lower league of English football with more than 20years coaching experience but why are the big clubs not going for them if it is all about experience? how long has Zidane ,Nagelsman and kovac been coaching?

Sarri was trophyless before he joined Chelsea. Zidane hadn't coached a top division team before a whole real Madrid made him head coach. Guardiola had no experience when he became Barca's most successful coach ever. So it's not about experience if you've got it, you've got it
I wish I could like this comment more than once.

I used to be worried about Lampard taking over at Chelsea. But now, i want him; he has got style, history with the club and i am sure youngsters like Abraham, James and Mount will thrive under him.
Mind you, Lampard is a greater legend compared to Solksjaer.

there are no world-class players but we were still able to qualify for UCL and win a trophy. how many available players in the market are better than the present players at Chelsea? no coach will last forever in a club so if he fail, he get the sack

Zidane and Pep had world class players at their service, a rookie would have achieved with same team.
Sarri was also a very tested coach,he grew thru the ranks and well respected.
I see Chelsea taking this route only if they don't expect to achieve much next season.
With the transfer ban and loss of Hazard, a top 6 with Lampard is dicey.
