pls a friend's infinix hot 2 comes on once he insert battery and Neva power on fully den go off again... It repeat this process as long as battery is inside... I don't know what to do. someone shud help.

Take it to those guys that repair phones. They should know what to do

if it isn't pressed down, that means it's damaged from the inside, if you can unscrew and clean the power button contact points from the inside, it will work, if you havent unscrew an android phone before, don't do it(as you risk damaging the screen flex if not opened correctly).
Go give it to an engineer, they won't charge you much for it.

according to what you explained, it's not software problem(flashing) since it comes on by itself once you insert battery, that's what a phone would if you keep the power button pressed down.
