Jiji is not a nice platform. U will search for a particular something with your preferred location but it will bring out every thing about that in the whole locations of the country. They can't narrow down a simple search to your preferred location. Nonsense platform.

OP, I don’t think there is any for now, except for the one which the guy above me just mentioned, which I am yet to try out, seriously, I wish they never did, what’s the fun of doing business when there’s no competition? Apple and Samsung are a perfect example, I must say, I know how much I make by selling stuffs on those platforms, OLX had it all, the simplicity, ease of use and everything, they just ticked all the boxes for me, but when it comes to Jiji, I don’t even know why I just feel this way about the app, no doubt it gets the job done, but even though they bought or acquired OLX, they should have at least left the app the way it was, but now they’re redirecting people from OLX website to their site, even when Mark bought what’s app or Instagram, the didn’t redirect people who visited those sites to Facebook.com, it doesn’t make any sense, I don’t know if anyone working with Jiji is reading this, maybe there’s something you can do, nobody is saying you shouldn’t acquire an app, but at least understand this app had already existing users, imagine all my chats, and ads I posted just disappeared and are no where to be found, well enough already, let’s just hope for a better alternative to Jiji, because for now, I don’t think anybody is happy with this news.

Even Diamond Bank that was bought over by Access Bank still allow her customers to make use of the Diamond app and old account number.

Jiji think say dem wise... I will switch over to dx Swapix... I just downloaded the app but when I try to post an ad...it takes time unlike OLX.

My question is dx... Can OlX ever come back again?

Sure OLX can come back, all Jiji just have to do is allow us access to the app again, they are the ones who restricted us in the first place, I just hope this Swapix is a good alternative, to be very honest, if I have my way, I will create an online classified app for Nigerians.

Jiji is should have allowed olx to still run.
You bought olx with such high number of active users and all you can do is close it down, I am forced to say they do not know business.

Allow both olx and jiji to run, it won't stop jiji from making money if they handle everything very well.

We’re not saying Jiji is bad, they disabled accounts of existing users of OLX, so many people are not happy about that

Nothing wrong with buying them over, but the transition is not professional.

They strike me as petty. Why not just gradually re-brand olx but retain it's features (which was better and easier) and users account. Which is still a win for them.
They just didn't think their actions through.

I'm very dissatisfied, I'm not happy at all. Olx has done more good to me than jiji. I use both but I've never sold anything on jiji. Everything I've sold online was through olx. 50 people will price you on jiji and none will buy, but on olx 5 people will price and 2 will be ready to buy. You can imagine the useless jiji calling me everyday telling me to take advantage of their payment system and when i stopped picking they restricted me from posting ads or editing my ads. I've deactivated the nonsense and i discovered swapix, i think i will be using that instead.

There was a time Nairaland runs an ad classified site. Nairalist and it was cool. I wonder why Seun discontinued it.

Jiji.. just like someone said, i too have never really sold anything through jiji, it has always been olx that i make sales on.. most calls i get from jiji are from people far from my my state, las las they wont buy..

Olx.. baba for them all, but am yet to understand the motive behind this sudden acquisition by jiji.

Volo.. abi wetin be there name, i actually downloaded the app today but counldnt find a single ad in my city..
In total, they had like 90 ads in the mobile phone category, and also, i think they post according to institutions.

Finally, olx trumps all other clasified website in nigeria.
