You keep quoting Harold Klemp, even though I know he is your spiritual leader, what is his source and how do you know it is authentic?

PS: mind you I personally agree with most of your contemplation seeds and believe they conform with christ's teachings, but you are quoting harold klemp as an authority, that is what I am questioning.

the quotes i am posting are from one of Sri Harold Klemp's book, "The language of soul" . there are other books by other Eck Masters i can quote from but it really does not matter. what matters is the message. The source of course is the Holy Spirit.

how do i know it is authentic? that is what the spiritual exercises and contemplation does. it tunes you in to the holy spirit which is the source of all truth. the master tells you not to just take anything at face value. go within and confirm from the holy spirit.

PS: mind you I personally agree with most of your contemplation seeds and believe they conform with christ's teachings, but you are quoting harold klemp as an authority, that is what I am questioning.

Sri Harold Klemp is an authority in everyday spirituality. he has authored over 60 books which are well circulated in  the USA.
there really is no embargo on being an authority in anything all it takes is love in whatever is your pursuit.

there are also books written by Eckists too based on their personal experiences. what we emphasize on is your own experience which should really be your own authority.

No matter how much insight we gain about God, there will always be something that lies beyond the horizon of our understanding. That is simply the nature of truth.

People with a high state of consciousness are not frozen into inaction by terror brought about through disasters. They immediately make a plan to turn the negative energy to advantage. At this level of creative imagination, Soul is in a condition of survival. The lesson of the worlds of matter is to develop Soul’s ability to ride the crests of life. This is vairag, detached love.

When you ask for help, Spirit begins to bring changes that are for your good. Of course, this means you must be extra careful in the choices you make. Before Spirit can make any changes, you must develop a better image of yourself: You are Soul. God’s love is for you.

Cmanforall's experience is interesting. But he's the only one who knows what he saw. He was the only one who saw it. He was not seeking the experience. He was not chanting Hu. He was in church. It would seem he'd grown spiritually to the extent that such experiences are the next natural step for him. But, ben, that's not how it works for you. You have to chant Hu, yes? It's a sort of key or trigger that opens a door, irrespective of where you're coming from spiritually. Millions of people have spiritual experiences without seeking them, and without any kind of prop. I would suppose that to be a little different from its opposite, I would suppose different processes to open different doors. Don't you think so? If you think you have the same sort of experiences as those who don't chant Hu, why then do you need 'Hu' when they don't?

the experience that cmanforall had is what we know as the "call of soul". that is when God comes knocking on your consciousness and says "hey it is time for you to come home".

i had some of those experiences before i became an Eckist. in one of those experiences i was around 8 years and i was about to sleep, then i heard a loud sound that was coming in waves like the sound of ocean waves. the sound literally pulled me out of my physical body and i found myself in a place that was so beautiful beyond words and i didn't want to come back. the next thing i knew i was back in my physical body. nobody could explain the experience to me at that time until i came into contact with the Eck teachings.

chanting HU makes it easier for soul to leave the physical body and also removes all fear from soul enabling it to explore the heavenly worlds consciously.

If you think you have the same sort of experiences as those who don't chant Hu, why then do you need 'Hu' when they don't?

those experiences do come randomly to souls who do not even want to have them why? because we are souls and those experiences show our real nature.
like i told you earlier for those who do not bother to develop themselves spiritually by doing spiritual exercises like singing the HU such experiences remain random and uncontrolled.

singing the HU develops your spiritual faculties in a more organized way and expands your awareness to be able to understand the experiences when they occur. the main thing for you to understand is that naturally as soul you are open to those experiences but you may not understand them or control them.

this is where the HU comes in. to enable you become more conscious of these experiences and to understand them when they occur.

thanks

@op I find your religion quite interesting. Can you clarify me on the issues of life after death?

at the point of death, the real you which is known as Soul simply drops the physical body and moves into the next plane or heaven according to its level of spiritual development and maturity.

the majority of souls who are still unfolding generally goes to the nearest plane to the physical plane which is known as the astral plane or 1st heaven.

at that plane soul goes to the court of Yama for judgement or a review of its immediate past life. after the review the soul sees for itself whether it has learnt the necessary lessons it needed to learn or whether it has not.

in order to balance unpaid debts that the soul left behind or to learn the lessons it has to learn, the soul will then be required to come back to the physical universe again and take up a physical body again as a baby and start another circle of learning life's lessons and that is what we know as reincarnation.

if you have any other question please do not hesitate to ask.

thanks

Hi benodic, since our last conversation I started asking 4 the truth everytime I pray.then I had a dream,I was talking to a guy,I couldn't tell his face but we talked like we knew each other.I asked him 2 tell me the truth,he said I have to find out myself,I asked about time,he said its different.during the conversation I felt my spirit pulling out of my body,it was scary so I woke up shouting Jesus.I was disappointed with myself but said may be am getting unnecessary information here.when I saw your post talking about home it was strange because that's what a voice told me after the dream(that am coming home),I asked why does home feel so strange.now I don't know what am afraid of.Is it finding out what I know is not the whole truth or I might not be able to come if I soul travel.you call it soul calling, why doesn't it happen to everybody, you can't say maturity BC yours started when you were a kid & I know lots of good xtians that know nothing about it.How was your transition until you found Eckankar. How was your Christian life.I stopped praying about the truth,I know there's more but may be am not ready.I feel blind & I wish there's a Christian explanation to all this.
Thanks & stay blessed.

Hi benodic, since our last conversation I started asking 4 the truth everytime I pray.then I had a dream,I was talking to a guy,I couldn't tell his face but we talked like we knew each other.I asked him 2 tell me the truth,he said I have to find out myself,I asked about time,he said its different.during the conversation I felt my spirit pulling out of my body,it was scary so I woke up shouting Jesus.I was disappointed with myself but said may be am getting unnecessary information here.when I saw your post talking about home it was strange because that's what a voice told me after the dream(that am coming home),I asked why does home feel so strange.now I don't know what am afraid of.Is it finding out what I know is not the whole truth or I might not be able to come if I soul travel.

what you are experiencing my friend is what every soul at a point in their journey will come to. the point at which you realize that you are a stranger here and that you came from the heart of God and when your lessons are done you will have to go back.

The problem Soul encounters is the Mind. the mind is where fear is rooted. the mind has been conditioned from birth to believe a set of truth. but when you as soul goes beyond the mind and comes face to face with reality it can be a shattering experience with all the illusions you have about life blown to bits. that is why i keep on saying that you have to be ready to experience the ultimate reality.

you call it soul calling, why doesn't it happen to everybody, you can't say maturity BC yours started when you were a kid & I know lots of good xtians that know nothing about it.

i called it " The Call of Soul".   that is when God calls you and tells you that it is time you start winding up your activities on the lower universes and start finding your way back to God.

it happens to everybody but at different times. the Journey of Souls started millions of life times ago. it is not a journey of one life time. we are all old souls who have been coming and going on the wheel of life. learning the lessons of life to achieve spiritual maturity. at a point when a particular soul is nearing spiritual maturity that soul receives the Call Of Soul.

soul is not the physical body. the maturity i am talking about is the Maturity of Soul and not that of the physical body. so you can have a child who already is a matured soul and is privy to spiritual knowledge that old men can not even fathom.

it is so unfortunate that the christian doctrine discarded the doctrine of Reincarnation and adopted the concept of one life time. that is why many christians will not understand this things i am explaining to you.

through the process of reincarnation soul comes to earth, have experiences and learns some lessons. at death It sheds the physical body and comes back again in another physical body to continue the process of learning. this circle continues until It reaches spiritual maturity.

How was your transition until you found Eckankar. How was your Christian life.

like i said earlier. i had a past life recall experience early in life but kept it to myself? why? because of what i was being taught in the church i was attending. i was a very serious born again christian. i read the bible in and out. i used to read a chapter of the bible every day. from beginning to the end. each day i meditate on what i read. i was seriously seeking for answers.

when i was in my teens i decided to investigate the memories i had as a child, concerning who i was in my immediate past life. i asked my father and my mother and other relatives about the person i was and i got my confirmation that the memories i had where real.
they were not figments of my imagination. that was when i ended my life as a christian. and became a seeker. i went through a number of other religions and other paths seeking answers.

then i came across the Eck teachings and for the first time, all the questions i had about life were answered. and not just that. for the first time i was given the key to go within myself and find out the truth about anything in life. and so my journey in Eckankar started. and after 19 years. i have not regretted my decision one bit to become a member of Eckankar.

I stopped praying about the truth,I know there's more but may be am not ready.I feel blind & I wish there's a Christian explanation to all this.

my dear, you do not have to give up. continue praying about truth. Truth has levels and does not belong to any religion. all a religion can do is to give you a key to access it for yourself. nobody will do it for you and You will never be given truth that you are not ready for.

The Holy Spirit will take you by the hand step by step like a baby from one level of truth to another at a pace that is very natural and okay for you until you reach spiritual maturity.
remember that Jesus said that the kingdom of God is within you. when you are able to step into that kingdom here and now, then you will start having an inkling about what this life we are living in is really all about.  it is not about any religion, it is really all about you "Soul" finding your way back to your father. God.

thanks.
