A 9 year-old boy rescued after he was chained by his stepmother and father in Abia.

The boy lost his mum at birth and has been living with his father and stepmother who subjects him to inhumane treatment.

The heart of men is desperately wicked. If parents can treat their child like this, how will they treat other peoples children. Lord please savee me and my house from wicked people

The heart of some women is pure evil, don't be surprised some of these women complain of domestic violence but are actually worse than the men they blame, they maltreat little children, their maids and anyone they have higher authority over.

There was a small boy that was chained like this, for several years somewhere in naija... Then social welfare services got wind of the situation and came to save the boy... When they removed the chains some parts of his flesh came off with it, cos he outgrew the chain and it became too tight

It is one thing for the heartless step mother to do this to a child, but that man that ought to be his own blood, allowing this abuse, is the real evil.

Will this boy not be better in foster care than this thing he is facing?

Everyone going in sane in Nigeria or just maybe we are beginning to go one step forward, ten steps backward.
I also think it's high time Nigeria government starts having foster homes and care. It is time for the government to start protecting the children. It is time for them to start collecting children / withdrawing rights from parents and guardians who are not fit to be one.

Someone should arrest the Care not givers and find this boy a foster home. Not as house help oh. A good family looking to love him as a son.
