Understanding the creation will enlighten your spirit. I've come to understand that the old testament God is not the Almighty God. Reading from the creation account you will see in Genesis 1:26 "Then God said, "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." .So there was more than one spiritual personality involved in the creation process. And analyzing the banishment from the Garden of Eden from Genesis 3:22 "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever". The word in bold shows that there was still more than one spirit being involved in the creation process.So man after eating "the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil" became like "God", so he needed the tree of life to live forever. Then that shows "God" is imperfect because he has the knowledge of good and evil but depended on the tree of life for immortality because he is immortal. The "us" in Genesis 1:26 and Genesis 3:22 can not be God. Most people know that the Tree of Life was and is The Christ. But the tree had "fruits" from Genesis 3:22. What gave life to that tree? Is it not God? God was the "soil" where the tree of Life and the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil was planted on. He gave them life by his Spirit. The tree of life was also the Word of God because he was pure.There was no "good and evil" in Him. He created man.He gave the Angels the order to make man.And looking at Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them",so there are two forces aciting on creation here,the male and female force.The Angels fromed "male" and "female" according to their likeness.Yes there are female cherubims and seraphims. So the Word spoke what he knows from God,the Source. The "God" Moses was referring to in Genesis may be the "Force" created by the Angels greater than what man can think of. God exist.I'm not trying to undermine that fact.But what i'm saying is that God is a Spirit.He has no emotions. He doesnt repent.He doesnt kill.He is the Life force and everything exists in him. But The Christ which is the word is what we need to be "free" and get this eternal life. So nothing exists without the Word. Nothing exists without The Christ. |

in my own little opinion, i do not agree with this at all. i think sometimes the old english of the kjv can be misunderstood. i think according to the passage you have quoted that it tells of who was created (male and female) as opposed to who was doing the creating. i do not have biblical proof of this but i was under the impression that angels had no sex (male or female) i am sure someone will shed some more light or darkness on this topic.
