 Presumed Chairman must understands the business, its culture, core value, vision, people and processes.
 He must be willing to gives strength and support particularly financial support to the organizations project and others while being resilient.
 He/she must understand the wider industry and prepare the Company for all eventualities.
 He/she must be willing to be challenged on their own views and enjoy open debate.
 He must in his capacity be able to identify opportunities and potential for the major growth of the organization as well as other risks facing the organization.
 The Chairman must be responsible for ensuring that all Board members are using their own unique skills for the good of the organization
 The Chairman’s ability at communicating Company strategy to external stakeholders and giving stakeholders confidence in the Company’s future direction will help keep external pressures at bay.
 He must be willing to stand up to shareholder pressure, if necessary.
 He must not lose sight of his main priority of improving the long-term performance of the business.
