This is one of the reasons why the north is smarter than the south, if this was given in the north it will be hush hush. But it gets to the south we broadcast it then other states start complaining then the presidency revokes the whole thing. This same thing happened during GEJ government NNPC did a hush hush recruitment, it favoured the south and as usual they don't keep their mouths shut, an appointment letter was taken to the presidency and that was the end of the recruitment. The north keep pushing their people in government low key and the south makes noise.

I don't think this "automatic employment" thing is good. People should be screened for positions they are to work.

Agreed, but first-class should get you into almost any door to be screened...

In as much as this is good news to Ebonyi State Indigenes but how is this even possible in a country like Nigeria with 36 different components. Is this not selective?
How would this even be possible without violating the quota system policies or Mr. Commissioner is high on expired weeds?
I think.CBN should have made it a level playing ground for all First Class Economics graduate from all the states.
All the same, congrats to all First Class Economics graduate from Ebonyi.
Which quota system. What is the meaning of quota system. Go to North and tell dem quota system. I'm not from Ebonyi anyway but quota system is bulshit in this country
It will also serve as an avenue to work hard for other Economics students though only if this is true.

Yes, having a good grade will present you with opportunities lower grades won't give you.

I'm happy you agree that candidates should be screened which is the point in my post.

what is your point gan gan?

Respectfully,
My point is Such individuals with excellent results are supposed to be build on. Their state government can send them to other countries to learn and acquire a relevant skills needed in their society and come back to transfer the skills.
Not just to employ them and before you know get them wrapped up in the poor state of how things are been run and in the long run make them a smarter corrupted individuals
