Our people should also learn to be their own environmental watch dog. Although, the leadership (present and previous) has a hand in the environmental degradation by poor environmental implementation policies, our people should clear their gutters and drainage systems to allow easy flow of water during and after rainfalls. Some landlords in Lagos even demarcate their gutter areas from those of their adjoining neighbours causing water and rubbish percolation which end up spilling on the roads. At this time and age, IKEJA, the Capital of Lagos State is bigger than this..yes..not after the same problem has persisted!! 13 Likes 2 Shares |
