Students of the Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi have deserted the institution after alleged cultists engaged in a killing spree.

Clashes and reprisals uncontrolled led to the crisis which forced the students to flee the polytechnic. Reports gathered revealed that many of the victims were killed between Sunday to Tuesday evening around Igbe Road.
