Is this good or bad? In my opinion it is bad. No country should have that level of influence. It mean another country could be brought to its knees even if their action was right but at the detriment of another country like USA. That's why south Africa is dragging its feet on the issue of taking over lands stolen by white people during apartheid era. That's the mistake of adopting western system of economy.

Speaking from a moral perspective, it's good if the citizen concerned is innocent of the charges against him/her. Then morally bad if otherwise.
