can't the people of this country be objective at any single time? what is the point of 90% igbos in the team? can't you see that the team is playing well and winning? what else do you want? is it not the name and colours of nigeria they are wearing? what if they are 100% igbos? please stop this nonsense. that the team is playing well and winning is enough to justify the make-up of the team. by the way, i'm not igbo if you care to know. my support and prayers for the super falcons and their coaches!

I think the reason is cos majority of the female pro league clubs are from the east and the niger deltan state,so that's where the talent pool is derived from. There's nothin bad in it as long as they keep winning

To answer your question, NO. . .it has nothing to do with the coaching crew. The Falcons have always been dominated by Igbo's even when James Peter (South-South), Ismaila Mabo (a Notherner) and Nterio Effiom (from either Cross Rivers or Akwa-Ibom state) were in the saddle

I suggest you to take a stroll to the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos (in the South-west. . .I never mention the South-East &  South-South o) or any football training ground/field in Nigeria where you reside on a Saturday to see the "aspiring" female footballers who come out to  train & play and then come back and tell me how many non Igbos and non Niger Deltans you see.

Only then will you begin to understand why the Igbo's dominate our Female National teams at all levels and will continue to dominate for a long time to come.(U-17, U-20 & the Falcons)

She is just one of the five Nigerians in the team. She has actually being playing for Equitorial Guinea since 2006.

She scored the first of their 2 goals in their 2-4 loss to us when we met in the group stage of the 2006 AWC in Warri, Nigeria.

Only 2 of their Nigerian players have played in this competition so far. The others are yet to take to the field.

Meanwhile, that Equitorial Guinea team dey worry o. . .especially that their Number 8 that looks like a man. I dare say they're the best team in this competition. I'm actually happy we're meeting Cameroun instead of them in the Semi-final.

Even even the team is 100% Hausa, Ijaw, Yorub or Igbo, the essential thing is that they are doing well. Please we should start out growing this nasty attitude. Last week athe composition of the Asset Management Company(ATCON) was questioned by some Northern Senators. They insisted that the board of ATCOn has two South Westerners while the North East has none.

The Senate President promptly remoinded them that they should sacrifice excellence on the alter of mediocrity, ethnicity and quota system. Check the history of female football in Nigeria, the Igbos, South West and South South has always dominated.

I think the Igbo ladies are more into football. So there is no cause for alarm in this case.

it is only natural that anything good and enterprising in this country and does not require government intervention will be dominated by the ibos eg nollywood,commerce and football etc but it is corruption we know where to look

even if all the players were french, as long as they are our national team (and deliver gr8 results) , i'll be loving them more

Some Hausa girls are in Harem, the others are mostly allergic to social life. Some Yoruba girls are also in Harem, others want to be professors and the rest are too fat to play footie. They are also obedient and may decide not to play because Baba said so. Igbo girls are tough with independent mind. There are no religious restrictions on them, they can disobey their parents and play footie. They are naturally stubborn and are daily playing the role of men in the society. This is evident in the Aba women riot (1929?), and the way some Igbo women beat up their husbands.

Even if all 22 ladies are from the same parents, I do not care, they should just bring home damn cup
