It is not easy to route out corruption in a country of
200 million people where kickbacks , smuggling , counterfeit and embezzlement have been part of everyday life for more than half a century.

Some leaders wouldn' t even think about or dare
tackle an issue they would refer to as a lost cause.
But general Buhari took on the battle, held the ground and reined in the mess.
He closed the borders with Benin and sent a clear message to crooked politicians who dont see any difference between public funds and their own pockets.
This is unprecedented in Africa and the rest of the world.
