Hello fam. Plz I'll go straight to the point.
My parents inlaw were about to celebrate their silver jubilee before unfortunately my father inlaw(may his soul Rip) had an attack and died on the spot.
Before then my wife had already bought expensive suites, shirts, shoes for him from UK. Unfortunately the old man didn't live to wear those stuffs.
NOW my wife wants to bring all those things back to our home for me to have them but I don't want to. It's generating issue cos those stuffs cost her a fortune but at d same time I dnt want to and I'm scared of putting on what was meant for a dead one out of fear that he might attack me someday for putting on his clothes.

Plz I need ur advice plz cos my mind is not on accepting those stuffs.
Should I follow my mind or accept them becos of my wife?

Accept them and give to your own father instead.

He will be more than happy to wear them.

Or better still, share them amongst her brothers so that you won't chop beating from the dead alone grin

Why are you afraid ? Were you antagonizing him while he was still breathing?
Ordinarily this your problem will not be an issue for me

I laughed my ass out, people thought I was mad.

For peace to reign, if you tell her how you feel about the stuff and it’s still an issue, take it, hide it in the farthest part of your wardrobes or better still ask her to dash her brothers if she has any. But then, the clothes are not the deadman’s because he never wore them and besides, you are are his daughter’s husband so why fear.

Lol again grin grin

Lol. It’s just a piece of cloth and he never wore it right? If you are not comfortable your wife shouldn’t force you to wear it. She can donate it to an organization or sell the suit, if you don’t want it.

If she indeed bought from the Uk they will accept them all and refund her money!

She can then use the funds to purchase items that you truly would feel comfortable wearing!

You’re not likely the same size as her dad so what’s all the brouhaha for sef?

Maybe it’s the grief making her act up anyway

Lol, oga u re funny oo, as if I knew that is wer u were heading to.

To me I don't see big deal in it only if u re feeling insecure about ur woman getting u stuffs and thereby hiding under the story of "it belongs to d dead" and come to tink of it.. are u d one dat killed d man?? since u re nt d one den why panicking?

And if we conduct thorough searching now we would find out u re one of those claiming all those things called superstitions are mere heresy and it's a result of hallucinations but now wen u find urself in the shoe u re worried grin

If it's about price, Tell her to sell them off but use style to do it so that she won't be offended.

Or she can dash her family
