There is absolutely nothing wrong in Tinubu aspiring to high office afterall he is reponsible for sponsoring and enabling almost every single political office holder from western Nigeria into every federal office today.

And there is some suspicion that he made a pact to this effect with the present VP before sponsoring his candidacy in 2014.

What however is the challenge remains the fact that as in 2014 the muslim-muslim ticket is a controversial one moreso that since 2015 religious tensions have escalated making a muslim-muslim ticket weaker still and in an environment where a christian will have to step down for him under duress... I cannot see how it will work....then for Tinubu to get a northern christian as VP....will the predominantly muslim north accept that?

My two cents is not the candidature of Tinubu himself but the other dynamics of the present VP and perhaps the proposed, future VP.

Osinbajo will soon resign.......
