The Chairman, House Committee on Rural Development at the 8th National Assembly, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu will on Saturday, 16th of November, 2019 be awarded the 'Philanthropist of the year' plaque as a reward for his immeasurable contribution towards propagating the growth and development of Cooperative.

The award, which is set to be conferred on him at the 2nd National Cooperative Awards, Symposium and Exhibitions 2019 holding in Abuja will be presented by the Cooperative Rating and Award Society of Nigeria (CRASON). According to the society, the award is in recognition of Hon. Adebutu's relentless effort towards upholding the glowing image of Cooperative and unparalleled philanthropic gestures to mankind in general.

This is coming aftermath of the 2019 global ICA conference and general assembly held in Kigali, Rwanda where Hon. Adebutu was reportedly the first individual who solely sponsored five participants to the ICA global conference. The award presentation will take place at LivingBrooks Events Park, Asokoro, Abuja.
