I think a good lawyer can win this case in the girl's favour. The school's rules and regulation begins and ends within the school environment or any other place within the school's jurisdiction. Do they know how many students in such religious schools that book hotel rooms in nearby towns just to have sex during breaks before going to their respective homes? This is a consensual sex outside the campus during school holidays, that it was made public doesn't make it a crime. Proper counselling or at most suspension would have sufficed.

In as much as they are trying to uphold morality,expulsion was just too harsh.They could have suspended her or maybe made her to stay back for a year while simultaneously showing her the error of her ways
What if the girl out of depression now commits suicide,they will still be upholding morality at her buiral abi?
