The government should ban the importation or production of bleaching creams in Nigeria.

Unfortunately, NAFDAC is dead and buried. They should have led the fight against bleaching chemicals.

I agree, state governments should start an aggressive campaign against bleaching.

And follow up with a legislation to criminalize it.

I’m neither dark nor fair, but I’m praying to be darker. The UVC rays are increasing and only the dark skinned ones will survive this planet. Hopefully I pray I have enough melanin that would protect me. Those bleaching will be the first to perish, and their death will be very painful. When it’s time, I will just grab my popcorn and be watching them as they spontaneously start combusting( that is, catching fire out of nowhere).

The problem is that it does look better when a dark skinned person lightens up their skin, just as it looks better when a white person gets darker. That’s why whites catch skin cancer roasting in the sun just to look darker. Tell me : WHAT ARE PEOPLE TO DO??!!
