Useless comments on front page. The oba is complaining about the security officers who are demons. It is true. They are seriously affected. The farmers use same road the smugglers use. Innocent ones are suffering too. There should be a way to separate these genuine farmers from smugglers.

I told you one of the weapon buhari is using is hunger. To starve the hell out of us down here.

If we are looking for food,we have no time to ask them about governance...why do you think he even sent his errand doggs to west south and east?the rfcc and SARS. Anybody using flashy car..yahoo boy..he is enjoying life. He is soppose to die of hunger.

I can see my alobam brothers happy with this thread.

In 2 weeks time, you would see Customs officers mount their usual December road blocks on the roads to Igboland, seizing bags of rice. That's then you would now hear Dorobucci, wailers version fully sung in Igbo.

Those insulting the Monarchs don't know the kind of hardship induced to people here. I'm a corp member in ipokia LGA, and I must say that most of us are managing to survive here. How can they restrict the sale of petrol n kerosene , and customs still have the guts to seize from people that goes as far as owode to buy in kegs.The Federal government should just do something about this coz this has led to inflated prices of everything.



NB: Not everyone living close to the border are smugglers, their are still genuine farmers among them. Lastly ipokia is a village without power supply, most of the villagers use generators and lantern for their businesses at night. Shalom!!!

The Yorubas support fully the closure of the border most especially to prevent the criminal Igbos (hardworking Igbos) that snuggles weapons through those borders.

I heared about this that people who bought coconuts from Badagry are being harrased by customs along the express saying that the farm produce is from Benin.

Someone should remind those monarchs that wailer's forms are not available. They are suffering as a result of that costly mistake they made in 2015, as if that wasn't enough, they repeated the same avoidable mistake.
Border closure in the right sense should've reduce the prices of local commodities, in that farmers have now gone back to farm because of high patronage, that should've been the essence of border closure. CLOSE BORDER AND REDUCE THE PRICES OF LOCAL COMMODITIES. Rather price of good like rice they claim to be producing have gone to high heavens. Then who is fooling who?
They should enjoy that senile thing they brought.
