NAFDAC is at the boarder posts where these so called fake foreign brands are allowed in, only for them to be going into the markets disturbing the peace of small traders. There is also an imported baby pampers from China which is presently giving a lot of kids rashes. Its no surprise, same thing with maloxine malaria tablets that the original manufacture had stopped producing since 2003 but was been sold in Nigeria until NAFDAC raised alarm.
Until we change from being a consuming to a producing nation this kinds of situation will continue.

NAFDAC isnt saying foreign Eva Soap is fake. Their stand point is that the foreign brand in question isn't registered with them and so they cannot vouch for the brand. According to fliers being passed around by NAFDAC, there's an Eva brand with NAFDAC registration number and another without.

The flier goes ahead to explain the difference between both. So, while they are not exactly saying that the eva in question is fake, they are saying Nigerians will do well to avoid using the soap since it really hasn't been ascertained that the soap is safe.

[size=18pt]NAFDAC did not declare the foreign made Eva soap as fake. But rather claimed that it was not registered by NAFDAC and has been illegally imported into this country. The UAE made Eva soap is really good. I used it sometimes ago, it's nice and good.[/size]
