It has been brought to our notice that one of our buses,and another belonging to GUO transport were involved in an accident situation on the Lagos-Ore-Benin Express way,on Thursday.

Accounts by official first responders at the scene had it that there were at least four fatalities and injuries to passengers in both vehicles.

Further details are sketchy,while we can confirm that injured persons are in the hospital receiving treatment.

We are also establishing contact with relations of affected persons on our side, as appropriate.

It was an unfortunate incident which we deeply regret.

We enjoin social media posters to be mindful of the sensibilities of persons in this situation and their families,and refrain from spreading salacious,untruthful accounts, unrelated to any reality.

We are cooperating with appropriate agencies of government in their investigation to establish the truth and avoid a recurrence.

I do use Peace Mass transit. Its been peaceful and i pray it continues.

Just as a guy said, Its not Transport system its just Grace of God.

My problem with them is High cost of Luggage and the intimidation their agbero guys gives the Weaker people that refuses to pay

The best buses to travel with are the long Marcopolo buses. Preferably from ABC. They may be slow but your life is more important than speed.

I think the following questions needs to be answered before condemning peace mass:

How many vehicles do they have on the road at any given time and how wide is their transportation coverage compared to other transport companies? A higher number of vehicles and coverage should increase their frequency of accidents.

Do other transport companies experience an accident rate proportional to the size of their transport fleet?

It's only when these questions are answered that we can decide if something is wrong with Peace mass or not.
