Please give me a comprehensive answer on how u overcame yours.I have been to luth n taken three separate triple therapy regimens to no avail.I did an endoscopy n biopsy in the course of all these which stated it was h pylori associated chronic severe gastritis despite all treatments.I have been everywhere n taken all sorts but d daily torture remains.These r my symptoms. b
I feel something is stuck in my stomach for it to be removed so i can be free.I feel pains when I touch or press my upper abdomen (epigastric region).I have to endure gnawing pains day n night.Kindly share ur experience as to how u overcame it

I have tried n have been trying since March 2018 when it started.I have gone from one hospital to another n ended up at d gastroenterologist unit in Luth.I have been through triple therapy regimens with the last coming this past Jan after having done endoscopy n biopsy.All these did not work which has led me confused n all they tell me at luth is usually triple therapy n omeprazole.It jus looks to me that's all they can offer .I had seen a nutritionist where I paid well n was on cabbage juice,ginger,garlic et Al.No improvement.I still went as far as buying Norland products including d popular mebo gi capsules which r very expensive in a bid to come out of this.Im still fighting so I honestly do not know what nxt to u.i av stopped eating a lot of things,I never drink nor smoke.So tell me what else I haven't done

@ppeessuu,thank you very much for ur kind words.1I do eat reasonably though cos i try to avoid losing weight cos atimes b prefer not to eat cos of the discomforts n atimes too eating reduces or believes the discomforts.
2.I don't constipate and use the toilet normally depending on how much i feed n i do not have diarrhea either.
3.I stopped carbonated drinks a long time ago,I avoided deep fried foods,I take you hurts n even at some point was taking powdery garlic,ginger et al.I do eat rice,beans in small quantity,banana,yam,spaghetti.These r my major foods then pawpaw n watermelon depending on my pocket.I was on cabbage juice at some point.The annoying thing bout this so called chronic gastritis is that nothing really seem to have been able to tame it.I might take A now n feels manageable n the NXT time i take that same A,it would not click

Well... I just read that someone advised you to stop making efforts, that you can control it with diet and lifestyle. Normally, gastritis gets cured quickly with treatment, in most people. But when it persists more than a reasonable period of time, then it is a chronic and serious one.

It can only be managed if you watch your diet and lifestyle, it doesn't cure it - and with what you just said, I think you've observed that too. It is not the way to get it treated completely. Gastritis is a stubborn condition to treat, and it only requires the right treatment to prevent further complications like the ones I stated earlier.

bros, l feel ur pain same way u feel it, in my own case it was very severe. I mean every 5min am in pain but thank GOd l didnt stop to try diffrent things,

am not a doctor but l can tell u that first thing to is stop taking anything containing excess sugar.
2, what u are dealing is a drug resistant infetion, u just have to manage it with anything that is very bitter, l can't remember some of leave l use to eat raw in large quantity.

3, these an oppotunist infection, it take's advantege of the illment present in ur body to cause more damage or pain that is another reason u are having pain 24/7.

Eg, if u are having maleria or headach the pain will multiply.

In that case you have to treat any underline sickness first to prevent from causing more pain.

That is from my personal experience.

we are in these together, I still feel pains when I touch my upper abdomen (epigastric region also) , I heard it doesnt have a cure but rather u learn to manage, was frustrated all tru last year b4ci found out the tricks, the truth is avoid some certain foods and make sure u dont go hungry, try this for 2 months and watch ur body adjust,
