well now that it has being confirmed that it is indeed bawomolo, let me honestly say that he was a phenomenal person. when i log into NL and i am too lazy to read a topic that has about 10 pages or so, i look through the names of the posts looking for which ones i will read. his was one of those names i definitely had to read their posts. i respected the man (geezzzz he was  really 21 ?) and have fond memorys of our banter. i especially found it hilarious when he called me 'oko shaniqua' . never met him in person but i loved the man. RIP BAWO

LOL @ oko Shaniqua. He was definitely a cool guy. I knew he was not older but I did not think he was just 21. He was so sensible. I cannot even imagine the pain his family is going through. He just liked life and even when his opinion was not the popular one he stood his ground and defended what he believed in. It is our loss that he is not here anymore to discuss with us. Ahhhhh. It is too hard to think that a life can just be stolen like this. Only God knows why

I don't even know him enough to claim that your actions hurt, but I do know it's disrespectful.

I'm glad you expressed those words in bold. I've been thinking about that myself, at just 21, Nairaland holds a large chunk of Bawo's life and memories, same for many Young Naija's in the diaspora who post here, even the news report said he spent a lot of time on his laptop.

I won't be shocked if his Mom, Sister or Father log on here in their moments of grieve to view a part of their Son and brother's life and thoughts. A lot of which they were probably not privy to, they may not find closure but, I'm confident they will be proud!

@Seun this is obviously not just that small online forum you started, You have a community of living breathing Nigerians on your hands, Immortalize this Dude here! a Board or something -named after Bawomolo- representing what majority believe he stood for will be a good Idea.

This is such a sad story. Every time i think about it it just makes me cringe. He was such a cool, nice person. Can't remember him hurling insults or being mean. I can't even imagine what people closer to him than us will be feeling right now.
