Where the monsters hide,

Is where the eyes of the nescient cannot see.

During the lonely crepuscular hours,

Can't keep them in; they come out to play,

My insecurities are bound loosely in this nebulous orb..

An overflowing bank of pent-up emotion.

My dreams haunt me when it gets dark,

Feels like I'm collapsing into the looming black,
The misty cold of looming dawn,

Before the morning sun.

That's where the monsters hide,
Deep within my soul.
