Cowards die many times before their death. A certain Obafemi Awolowo said, if the east secede the west will secede. The East seceded and we all know what happened thereafter.

Bunch of Cowards.

He did not flee Biafra. The major mistake he made was that there was no preparation before the war yet gowon who claimed that he would defeat Biafra in 3 weeks had to seek help from UK, the then soviet Union, France, Egypt, Morocco, Niger, Chad and Cameroon to face just one Biafra. Had ojukwu prepared before the war, we would not be with these cows today. He went to get more weapons which was like putting the cart before the horse. Nigerians should tell themselves the truth : NIGERIA COULD NOT WIN WITHOUT HELP FROM ALL THESE COUNTRIES LISTED

He fought for 3 years to liberate his people, it didnt work out, but there is no shame in fighting for freedom.

The funny thing is that those who have never fought for their freedom will soon come here to say Ojukwu is a coward

I understand but. Look at how hard it was for nigeria to defeat Biafra, despite the fact that Biafran military had little or no weapon. Igbos had to make improvised guns, improvised grenades ( Ogunigwe) and we defended ourselves with it for 3 years before nigeria with all her weapons had to seek help from all those countries i listed could do anything damaging. Just imagine if ojukwu had Built a well equipped formidable army. I laugh when I see people on nairaland spewing rubbish about Biafra. They don't know history.

The story that the January 15 1966 was an Igbo coup would forever remain a fallacy. Major Adewale Ademoyega, member of the trio that formed the coup in his WHY WE STRUCK said

“There was no decision at our meeting to single out any ethnic group for elimination. Our intentions were honourable, our views were national and our goals were idealistic. Even those earmarked for arrest, four were northerners, two were Westerners and two were Easterners.”

On the morning of January 15 1966, there were six Igbo Lieutenant Colonels. None participated in the coup, there were 45 Majors in the Nigerian Army, and about 24 were Igbo. This means that, at least 18 had nothing to do with the coup.

The war was impromptu and it still would have been fought because of the greed of the British. After all, the Northerners wanted to leave if not that they were advices to do so. We are at the mercy of the US and the British. But one day we will be free completely.

Ojukwu is a coward and a bastard. He led millions of our igbo brothers and sisters to death and ran away.

No wonder ojukwu died like an ant. The blood of those he led to death spoke on his head.

Same awaits the criminal Abino fraidster who ran away from Python Dance after leading thousands to death.

You are an ALMIGHTY FOOL. You just went and dug up trash from Google without understanding the details. Those countries listed have Biafra medical support not military support. Keep living in fantasy useless Nigerian bacteria. What weapons did we get from those so called nations. Yet Egypt, soviet England were dropping bombs from the Air on Biafra. Sometimes Biafrans are willing to over look these things but when I see the things you maggots write about us online it gives us a reason to keep the fight going on. YOU NIGERIANS DESERVE EVERYTHING THAT IS COMING YOUR WAY

That's the way of the Nigerian Army. They only fight against people who have little or no weapons, yet some Maggots on nairaland open their stinking mouth to call Biafrans cowards. Payback is inevitable. Like play like play e go happen. See the way they run when they see well armed boko haram members

Ojukwu was an embodiment of Biafra. Capturing him would have meant the biggest defeat, and I would have spilled my own blood to ensure he remained free if I were a Biafran soldier, as long as he was free and never fell into the hands of the hausa and their yoruba sidekicks, Biafra remained free.

If he was captured, we would have had pictures such as this one in which diseased almajiris where 'panel-beating' a yoruba youth leader to assert their rights as masters of the yorubas. The pictures would have been all over the internet like Diya-the crying yoruba generals tape.
God forbid!

Ojukwu was never a general, he was dismissed from the Nigerian army as a lieutenant colonel but was however reinstated to that rank by the IBB administration
