A man has shared the experience of his friend who works with the Nigerian government. Who was sent to supervise a federal project in Benin.

To his greatest surprise, the project was "audio" as it didn't exist. According to him, the engineer had been supervising the non existing project for a year now.

"A friend of mine who works for the @NigeriaGov has just been sent to #Benin to inspect a Federal project only to find out it doesn't exist! The engineer who has been 'supervising' it for a year doesn't know where it is!"

Fourth year: Maintenance of 15km road from Benin to Ore - N1 billion

Fifth year: Maintenance of 15km road from Benin to Ore - N2 billion

Meanwhile the road hasn’t been built in the first place and Oshiomole and co have cashed in long time. Every year inspection is included in the ministry budget, millions are deducted from the ministry’s account and inspectors are sent out, lodged in choice hotels and giving report sheets to fill out

And don’t even mention that PDP is better here because these vices have been happening since 1999 and even way beyond any civilian government. Corruption has been with us since independence and we’ve been pretending to ourselves!
