I am Igbo but I don't need to read it to know its the truth our people don't know how to play politics.

Nobody will ever take us serious as long as we keep chanting Biafra.

Amongst the major tribes we igbos are the poorest, its not like we are not hardworking but no matter the kind of business u do, no matter the amount of Money u save up and make one political appointment and u will make all those Money in one day, what does that tell u?

Our leaders in the east see nothing wrong with the emigration of Igbo youths to other regions on a daily basis, leading to sparsely populated towns and villages and unoccupied houses, mansions and buildings littering the east yet they see nothing wrong with it.
This is a very senseless statement. Let me ask you, when GEJ was the president how many appointments reached your house? Igbos had a large chunk of the appointments but how did it help an average Igbo man in the street?
Re: Junaid Mohammed: Igbo Political Leaders Haven’t Learnt Any Lesson From Civil War by KosiGee(m): 2:20pm On Jan 27, 2020
The problem isn’t Junaid Mohammed. The problems are the op, Nairaland, the mods and Seun himself who collectively are biased and aggressively pushing ethnic ethnic sentiments down the throats of Nairaland readers.

This is an interview in which Junaid Mohammed characteristically mentioned the Igbos amongst so many other paranoia that plague him.

Amotekun was mentioned so were Gov Fayemi, Supreme Court rulings on Imo, Atiku Abubakar but in all these, it was Igbos and civil war that caught the attention of the op, the mods and mr Seun.

People should how to react to trolls and learn to avoid and distract themselves from being consumed or contributing to public nuisances.

No time reading through comments of a Sectionist.

A terrible disservice to oneself not to read it. The man is spot on ignore the title of the post it failed to articulate the totality of the piece. In fact the igbo presidency thing makes up less than 15% of the discussion.

Loolol.

Junaid can say whatever he feels, it is his inalienable right to free speech. But believe me the outcome of another civil war in Nigeria will be most unpleasant to those who like to gloat over a civil war they did not participate in.

I believe your statement shouting be directed at Nnamdi Kanu and his cohorts. All those egging him on

I will advise the north to hold firm on to power because if it dares slip from them I pity them. And if by single agitation Biafra comes into reality, I also pity the north. IGBOS are global actors and they v as it were the Jewish mentality.

Igbos don't know how to play politics?How?B/c they didn't vote the ongoing disaster in Aso rock?
One political appointment covers the hard work of the Igboman?Really?
Why is the north a wasteland despite all d political appointments since independence?
The people who have been sharing d appointments, which of them is better than the Igbos?

Comments like this and presidency would continue to elude us.

Kano state is developed than any state in the east, not to talk of Kaduna or Maiduguri, don't let people deceive u.

For u to call Buhari a disaster is another reason why I say we have a long way to go when it comes to politics.

Right now Igbos need to be trying to appease Buhari cause whosoever he decides to appoint successor has 60percent chance of winning

This is very ignorant Amotekun and referendum are 2 different things.

The only reason why the federal govt hasn't sent soldiers to the west is that the West is not known for secessionist tendencies or any form of militancy.

If this had happened in the east or south.

By now military would have been patrolling everywhere.

We Igbo's don't want out we only want what's due for us in this Nigeria, though I know nobody gets anything on a platter of gold u have to fight for it

I may disagree.

I want to believe if the governors, reps, and Senate members from the South East push for referendum, they will definitely make progress on it. Even if it's to the level of pushing it through constitutional amendment.
But the current strategy by some people from the south east outside the contents of leadership is not going to help.

The reason why I made reference to Amotekun is the unison In voice from the leadership to their followers .
No country will want to risk sending soldiers in that kind of situation. They must have utilize every available dialog options.

I just believes the voices should be one if we must make meaningful progress.

I wish you guys well.

This man is really terrified. They keep making reference to the civil war. Well, you think that Biafrans are afraid to go to war.

I think this man has not learned lessons from Boko Haram and Bandits ravaging his region. Wait for Trump to come back the second time. He knows everything APC has done during the last campaign to support the Democrats against him.

He also knows that it was Obama that removed GEJ and installed This disaster in Nigeria.

We shall see.
hahahaaaa, Trump my foot. foolish thinking, i tot you said trump is going to give you biafra.

He made sense here and that's the truth the political leaders of the Igbos are the reason for the political backwardness in the region all they care is their selfish desire without thinking of the entire populace of the region nor developing their region and states, no infrastructures to attract investors both national and international. But majority has been in power for these years since inception of democracy that is why their tribes men in diaspora tried beating Ekweremmadu last year. Imagine the likes of Orji Uzor Kalu who rendered Abia bankruptcy, he used the wealth of the state to establish his own companies and even use the same company to win contracts in the state and to deceive the people that he is solely constructing road for them. Then come T. A Orji now this one Ikpeazu....... That is why I think that the Biafra agitations is wrongly channelled for now, if ipob is really fighting a good fight they should have started internally to sanitize the regions polity and sensitize it's people the need to participate fully in politics both state and federal and to ensure that leaders who are ready to work and make sacrifices are put in power. When they have 2 or 3 good leaders that are Really working then agitation for Biafra may as well be understood by many.
Stfu... Come to the east and see how nearly everyone is balling.
